How to update firmware from Apple’s latest iPhones.
If you want to update your Apple Watch from the iPhone X to the latest version, follow these steps.
You’ll need the latest iOS version to do this.
If not, head to Settings and tap Update My Software.
Once the update is completed, head over to your Apple TV, or your device’s Settings app.
Tap the Settings icon and scroll down until you see About this Apple Watch, then tap the Settings button.
Under Software updates, tap the update button.
Once the update has completed, tap Continue.
When prompted, tap Upgrade Now.
Then, head back to your iPhone.
Your device will now reboot.
This process is different on the iPhone 9 Plus and iPhone 9.
To make sure you don’t lose the update, head straight to Settings, tap Software updates.
After you install the software update, your iPhone should reboot.
If not, restart the device.
Now, tap System update.
A notification should pop up.
In this case, tap it and tap OK.
It should now update the firmware to the new version.
