Whmcs has updated its security controls and payment gateway to make it harder for hackers to steal information from your account.
The update comes after security researchers discovered an exploit that was able to bypass the security measures, bypassing the whitelist and even steal your payment card information.
Whmcs said it had been notified of the security flaw, but had not yet received an email or a confirmation email from Visa or MasterCard.
“We’re investigating this incident and will update this post with further information once we have a response,” it said.
The breach is the second time WhmCS has been compromised.
Last month, hackers stole personal information from Whmics loginsharing page and redirected to another site, before switching back to its main site.
Whmics had said it was in the process of removing its loginshell service from the whitelisted sites and the payment gateway and would be removing it again.
